Harrow Estates as part of the Redrow Group is committed to pushing the boundaries of sustainable operation. In recognition of this Redrow Group was one of 300 companies listed in the Financial Times Europe’s Climate Leaders 2021.
In Q3 2020, Redrow Homes achieved the Global Good Company of the Year Silver ‘Nature for People’ biodiversity strategy, established as part of a long-standing partnership with charity The Wildlife Trusts.

THE STRATEGY
The strategy is framed around commitments to nature gains, rewilding lives and creating a flourishing legacy which is incorporated into the way the Group design, create and manage their developments.
Currently more than 1,134 acres of land on developments in progress by the Redrow Group is green space.
The Redrow Group is committed to low carbon development and is on a roadmap to net zero carbon with current trials being undertaken of new technologies such as air source heat pumps and infrared heating systems which alongside established renewables like PV and changes to fabric and building efficiency, can help achieve this.
From July 2021, all Redrow Group offices, plots, show homes and site compounds will be supplied by 100% Green certificated electricity, sourced from EON’s renewable assets along with supply agreements with local independent UK generators. This will deliver significant carbon savings from their total carbon footprint.
